Correction to format:

After the conclusion of the selected qualifying events, players will be invited to nominate as pairs for the Open Trials Final. The top fourteen nominating pairs, on the basis of the highest number of qualifying points, will be accepted for the event.

Qualifying points shall be weighted as follows:

·    Where a nominating pair has earned qualifying points as a pair, or as team-mates, each player will be credited with the qualifying points so earned.

·     Where a player has earned qualifying points in another partnership, or in an event where the nominating pair were not team-mates, that player shall be credited with weighted qualifying points equal to one half of the qualifying points so earned.

·         Each player filling a top placing in the following selected events will be awarded (subject to having played prerequisite minimum

number of boards) the corresponding number of qualifying points shown in the list below:

This event will be scored using the Cross IMP method.
