Cairns Bridge Club

1. Participants must enter via my ABF.

2. Entries close 5:00pm Friday, 10 October 2025 or prior if places filled.  If the Congress is full prior to this date, further entries will be on a waitlist. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Director. 

3. Visitors with current ABF membership  are welcome.

4. The QBA System and Alerting Regulations will apply.

5. Each player must have an approved ABF Systems Card which is identical to their partner's.

6. Green and Blue Systems and Brown Sticker Conventions and Treatments are permitted.  It is the players' responsibility to ensure the correctness of their system classification.

7. Entry fee includes finger food  for lunch on Saturday. 

There will be one field, but prizes will be awarded for each category:

•  OPEN
•  INTERMEDIATE:     under 750 masterpoints
•  RESTRICTED:          under 300 masterpoints*
•  NOVICE:                   under 100 masterpoints* 
  

*Eligibility for masterpoint requirements as at 30 June 2025.

Friday 17 October 7pm  Walk - in Pairs $20 per pair.   

Morning & afternoon tea provided - finger food lunch on Saturday included in entry fee

Matchpoint Swiss Pairs:  

Session 1  Saturday 18 October  10.00am

Session 2 Saturday 18 October   2.30pm

Session 3 Sunday 19 October     9:00am

Followed by presentations 

Red Points are awarded in the Swiss Pairs event.  Red points are awarded in the Walk-in Pairs.

Mobile phones are NOT ALLOWED to be used during session times.  Please see the Tournament Director to look after your phone If you are expecting an urgent call.
