GENERAL INFORMATION
This Congress is OPEN to all members of a Bridge Club in Australia. The Masterpoints restriction is from July 1, 2024. Players need to be seated by 9:15 am
Saturday Open Pairs - $80 per pair (80 myABF Bridge Credits per pair) Enter
Prizes will be awarded, depending on the number of participants, as follows:
Qualifying round - first placed.
Final - first and second placed pair.
Plate and Consolation Events - first placed pair, and subject to numbers, second pair
Sunday Open Teams - $160 per team (160 myABF Bridge Credits per team), Enter
Sunday Restricted (<300 Masterpoints) Teams - $160 per team (160 myABF Bridge Credits per team), Enter
Note: Entrants to the Undercroft St Ives October Congress are
advised that the Open and Restricted Teams event will be combined.
The Restricted and Open entrants will
initially play each other, ie Restricted will play Restricted, Open will play
Open.
After the first round, the draw will be dependent on results as is the normal case.
This change has come about due to the number of teams and the recommendation of the Director.
Prizes will be awarded to Restricted and Open winners as originally intended.
Prize money will be approximately 50% of net takings.
Registration and payment can be made using Bridge Credits or Cash or EFTPOS
