2025 SABA TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP 

RED MASTERPOINTS

The SA Bridge Association will hold a Swiss Teams Championship on 8, 15, 22, 29 September 2025. The event will be held on four consecutive Mondays, commencing at 7.15PM at 243 Young Street, Unley SA 5061.

Generous prize money of $3500 has been donated one of our members, Andrew Eddie.

The event will be played as one field, with 2 x 14 board matches being played in each of the evenings.  Red masterpoints will be awarded. This championship is open to players at all levels, with prizes for less experienced teams

$1000 first prize

$700 second prize

$500 third prize

$400 fourth place

$300 fifth place

$300 for highest placed team where all members have fewer than 1000 masterpoints. 

$300 for highest placed team  where all players, or all but one player, have fewer than 100 masterpoints. The team can include one player with unlimited masterpoints, who will act as a mentor to team members.

Terms and conditions:

If a restricted team finishes in the top 5, then they are eligible to receive the prize for their Top 5 place as well as the prize for their restricted category. A restricted team can only win one restricted prize i.e. either Under 1000MP OR Under 100MP (they cannot win both).

For help with finding a team, please talk to a Director, Tutor, or the General Manager.

Registration is required through MyABF, (free) no walk-ins. There will be no walk-in pairs.

There are 4 disabled parking spaces available at the back of the club and 2 disabled parking slots in the front.  Disabled stickers must be prominently displayed in the car.

The car park at the back of the building has approx 20 regular car parks. There is plenty of off street parking nearby, the signposted time limits do not apply after 6pm and on Sundays.

No catering for this event, as this is an evening session which starts at 7.15pm (allow 3 to 3.5 hours)
