GENERAL INFORMATION

HOW TO ENTER, ENTRY FEE

  • Enter and pay via MyABF (this site). 
  • Entry fee: $140 per team ($35 per player, assuming a 4-person team). Payment (can be made for all or one or more team members at a time.
  • Entries close on (and payment must be received by) 2 pm Thursday 1 January 2026.  After that, late entries/refunds at the discretion of the director/club.  All players in your team entry need to have registered with MyABF.  Entries will be pending until full entry fee for the team is received. Pending entries not paid when entries close may be removed. Limit of 32 teams.

FORMAT

QBA regulations (and, where applicable, the club’s tournament regulations) apply. Red masterpoints awarded for each match won or drawn, plus outright awards to the top third of the field. Red, Blue and Green systems and Brown Sticker conventions and treatments allowed.  Each pair must have two systemically identical ABF system cards at the start of each round. Random first round draw.

PRIZES

Paid in bridge credits.  The field may be divided (based on the director's seeding) into categories for secondary prizemoney purposes..

NEED A PARTNER OR TEAMMATES?

The MyABF on-line partnership desk used for this event allows you to advertise you are looking for a partner or teammates. This can be done privately (so only the tournament organisers know who you are) or publicly (all players can see your name/s).  If players are listed as looking for partner/teammates, you can also see that and click on their names to contact them by email.  You can withdraw from the partnership desk at any time.

Catering

BYO Lunch.  Tea/coffee all day.  Drinks and nibbles at the end of play.

Additional Information

The club has ramp access for wheelchair users, and has toilets for people with special needs.
