GENERAL INFORMATION
The women’s and seniors team selection will be separate events.
Both these events occur on Sunday March 29th 2026 for qualifying for the weekend of 18th/19th April for the final.
One pair may be nominated by each region. The one pair nomination from each of the three regions (Northern, Western and Eastern) will not need to play in Stage 1 as they go directly through to Stage 2 (the team selection process) on Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th.
Qualifying - Sunday 29th March 2026 There will be a Swiss pairs qualifying event on Sunday 29th March 2026. This event will be open to all Victorian women pairs who enter.
The top 11 available pairs out of this event (if each of the regions nominate a pair) will play for a place in the final on 18th & 19th April 2026 to create a field of up to 14 pairs.
If there are less than 11 entrants for this qualifying event all pairs will progress straight to the final on 18th & 19th April 2026. The qualifying event will not be held.
