You need to be registered with MyABF to submit an entry to any event.
To sign up MyABF website, please follow these instructions. It only takes a couple of minutes:
1. Sign up at this site https://www.myabf.com.au/view
2. Click on ‘SIGN UP’, which will take you to this link https://www.myabf.com.au/accounts/register where you will need to enter ABF number, Name, Email address and a password that’s easy to remember to avoid having to reset password.
3. Once you have done this, you will be sent an email to activate your account. Check spam for the activation email if you haven't received it.
4. When you have activated your account, it will take you to a site with your profile where you can add further details as you wish.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Northern Territory Bridge Association together with the ABF are very excited to promote our Territory Gold Bridge Festival. This year the Festival is being held in Darwin from 26 - 30 August.
The Festival includes 3 events, namely:
Matchpoint Pairs
Swiss Teams
Swiss Pairs (with PQPs);
All of which are Gold Masterpoint events, and include Cash Prizes.
Pay by Monday 25 July 2026 to receive a discount of $20 per pair or $40 per team, where the entry fee for an event is made in one payment. These rates are reflected in the entry fee shown. The entry fees will increase accordingly on Tuesday 26 July 2026.
Entry fee for Swiss Pairs includes presentation ceremony with drinks and canapes on Sunday pm immediately following play.
Location - DoubleTree by Hilton, Esplanade, Darwin (116 the Esplanade)
Transport
If arriving by plane in Darwin, taxis and uber are available for transfer into the CBD; and the trip will take no more than 15-20 minutes.
The Festival is being held in the Reflections room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade (116 the Esplanade) which is in the CBD; and there are a host of accommodation options in close proximity for our players. Book early to avoid disappointment. Darwin tends to be busy in August.
Transport options include taxis, uber, public buses, e-bikes and e-scooters.
Parking is available at the Hilton Hotel - there is a daily rate of $10. In addition, parking is available on the Esplanade and Mitchell Street - more info at https://www.darwin.nt.gov.au/resident-services/parking/on-street-parking-fees
Catering
Water will be provided to players in the Reflection room (subject to CHO Directions). Tea and coffee will also be available for players (with an honour payment system).
Lunches will be available for purchase in the hotel.
There are a number of catering venues in very close proximity (2 minute walking distance) to the hotel including Hanuman's, the Noodle House, the Lost Arc and the Coffee Man. Additional catering options (5-10 minute walking distance) include Lizard's bar and restaurant, Shenanigan's pub, the D Hotel, the tap bar, and the Coffee Club.

Stay at the venue - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel (116 the Esplanade) or one of Hilton's other venues in close proximity which may have discounts available - these are the Hilton Darwin (32 Mitchell Street) and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Darwin (122 the Esplanade). Links as follows:

Alternatively, you may wish to consider Mantra on the Esplanade, Darwin City Hotel, Argus Hotel, Novotel, Frontier Hotel, Luma Luma Apartments, Travelodge, Palms City Resort, Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel, Rydges Darwin Central Hotel, Alatai Apartments, Ramada Suites, H on Mitchell Apartment Hotel, H on Smith Hotel or Mantra Pandanas - all of which are in the city and in reasonable walking distance to the Territory Gold Bridge Festival. A little further afield you may wish to consider Mindil Beach Casino Resort, Quest Palmerston or Rydges Palmerston.
Book early to avoid disappointment. Darwin tends to be busy in August with a variety of events prior to our Territory Gold Bridge Festival including the Darwin Cup Carnival, Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair and Darwin Festival.

IMPORTANT POINTS:
The NTBA reserves the right to cancel the Territory Gold Bridge Festival and accepts no responsibility for any expenses incurred by players in the event of such a cancellation. The NTBA recommends that players take out appropriate insurance.
In the event of cancellation due to the pandemic or border closures, the NTBA will refund in full all entry monies paid.

Entries close on 17 August. The Tournament Organiser reserves the right to accept late entries and/or close entries early for the Swiss Teams and Swiss Pairs depending on numbers.
The ABF notes that all state and territory governments no longer require proof of double vaccination and wearing of masks when entering venues and business. As a consequence, these will no longer be mandated for ABF Licensed events. Tournament Organisers will make their own decisions regarding whether or not to relax the earlier policies and players are advised to check the website for each event prior to entry.
Players and officials are asked not to attend any event if they are not well, or if they are supposed to be isolating or quarantining. If you come to play but are not well, you will be asked to leave the venue. If you start feeling unwell with Covid-19 symptoms during any event, please ask the Director to find a substitute until you are feeling well and have a negative RAT test.
Tournament Organisers reserve the right to make decisions as to the running and conduct of an ABF License event and vary these regulations the health and welfare of the competitors and officials is compromised.
