GENERAL INFORMATION
The Swan River is a National Open Swiss Pairs Gold Point event which attracts significant prize money and awards Player Qualifying Points to each eligible player finishing in the first four places. The format is 9 x 12 board matches, 5 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday after which prize-giving and a light supper will be held. To be eligble for Best Restricted prize both players must have less than 300 MPs as at 1 April 2026. To be eligible for Best Novice prize both players must have less than 150 MPs s at 1 April 2026.

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. BYO lunch. Closest lunch venue, Kirkwood Deli, which is open from 6.30am, is an 8 minute walk.
A light supper will be provided on Sunday after play.
