Chery Stone sadly passed away in 2026 after a brief illness. Chery was a much-loved member of QCBC and took great joy in a game of Bridge. She ran the annual QCBC New Year's Teams event for many years, organising every detail right down to the games and prizes. Besides Bridge, Cheryl's other great loves were her family and sport. The Broncos were her favourite Rugby League team and Cheryl never missed watching her favourite team, the Broncos, play a match. The 2026 NYE event is to honour her memory and to share the enjoyment of Bridge and a party.
Theme of the evening is sport so dress in your favourite team colours, uniform or sporting equipment. Cash Prizes for best dressed team and pair.
