This is an Inaugural BAWA Red Point Event (it attracts 1.5 x the club congress red points). 

Generous PRIZES for Open, Restricted and Novice categories

Initially, a Women's Teams, and later a Women's Swiss Pairs, were the major event in the Hans G. Rosendorff Congress (HGR). Now, the HGR includes two other events (Restricted and Mixed) that women would like to play in, in particular the Mixed as it awards PQP's.

Thus, the original HGR women's event has become redundant. Hans Rosendorff actively promoted women's bridge, so to continue his vision we have instituted this event and named it in his honour. 

ENCOURAGE FRIENDS TO SUPPORT THIS EVENT THAT WILL ALSO HONOUR WOMEN BRIDGE PLAYERS WHO HAVE RECENTLY PASSED
