Bridge NSW is pleased to present the Northern Rivers Bridge Directors Workshop, a two-day program designed for both aspiring and developing directors. Whether you are new to directing or looking to build confidence and consistency at the table, these workshops provide practical guidance, clear explanations of the Laws, and plenty of real-world insight.

DAY 1 “So You Want to Be a Director” - Introductory Workshop

This workshop is ideal for those considering becoming a director or who are newly appointed. Topics include:

• Attitude and responsibilities
• Director etiquette
• Key Laws including revoke, lead out of turn, insufficient bids, claims, comparable calls and cards played

DAY 2 “Build Your Skills” - Intermediate Workshop

Friday 17 April 2026 | 10am – 4pm | Ballina Bridge Club

Designed for directors with some experience who want to sharpen their skills and decision-making. Topics include:

• Adjustments and decision-making
• Table presence and deportment
• Movements
• Laws relating to misinformation, unauthorised information, dummy’s rights, and more
