Walk-in Pairs commence Friday 28th April at 9.30am - Payment ($15.00) at the session

Swiss Butler Pairs (Open, Restricted and Novice) commence 2.00pm on Friday 28th April; Second session 10.00 am on Saturday 29th April.

Swiss Teams (Open & BRC 300) - Match 1 commences 2:00pm Saturday 29th April and Match 8 finishes around 12:15 pm on Monday 1st May 2023. 

Entry Fees:   Walk-in Pairs -  $30;  Swiss Butler Pairs  -  $160;  Swiss Teams   $580 (1point = $1)

Gold Points are awarded in the Swiss Butler Pairs and Swiss Teams events.  Red Points are awarded in the Walk-in Pairs.

The ABF Tournament Regulations as modified by the ABF Supplementary Regulations will apply.

Entries close on Friday 14th April 2023 or when table limit of 66 is reached. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Chief Director

Eligibility for Restricted Events - Masterpoint requirements as at 31 December 2022.  Please see BRC Manual for additional limitations.

• Novice Pairs: both players must have fewer than 100Mps
• Restricted Pairs:  both players must have fewer than 300mps
• BRC 300:  average masterpoints per player must not exceed 300mps nor any individual have more than 500mps.  Team members who are Life Masters may not play together in a partnership.

The venue has no lift. Should you not be able to access upstairs via a staircase; please let organiser know and downstairs seating will be arranged.

The Colonial Club has free parking for guests and visitors. Plenty off street parking is available at the rear of the Colonial Club in Behan Street, The actual venue is closer to Behan Street. Walk from front in Cannon Street is about 250 metres.

You are welcome to bring your own lunch.

The Cairns Colonial Club will prepare sandwiches and wraps before play on Saturday and Sunday. These need to be pre-ordered by 9.30am.

Each Lunch Pack will include: ($25pp)

• Water
• Piece of fruit (different each day)
• Muesli bar OR packet of chips

Pasta Salad – Sundried tomato pesto dressing finished with parmesan cheese & rocket (V)

Greek Style Salad – Tomato, onion, cucumber, kalamata olives, avocado, goats cheese & a cider vinaigrette (V GF)

 Arrival drink and snack will be provided on Friday around 1.30pm.

Farewell drink and a snack will be provided on Monday at around 12.15pm

Water will be provided at stations in the playing area.
